What Services Should You Expect a Hospice to Provide?
Hospice incorporates a holistic approach to care. These include the physical, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of the individual, their loved ones and caregivers.
In order to provide these services we utilize an Interdisciplinary Team approach composed of various disciplines:

Among its major responsibilities, the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team manages the person's pain and symptoms; Assists with the emotional, psychosocial and spiritual aspects of dying; Give support to loved ones; Provides needed drugs, medical supplies, and equipment; coaches the family on how to care for their loved one; delivers special services like speech and physical therapy when needed; makes short-term inpatient care available when pain or symptoms become too difficult to manage at home, or the caregiver needs respite time; and provides bereavement care and counseling to surviving family and friends.
